Has any one tried moving the rear coil spring mounts forward on the left side and back on the right ? Have beenb thinking about trying this on our new car . metric malibu.

The latest car we built we moved both spring pearches forward on the rear end. (With the idea that when the rearend twists up it would weight the rear of the car for forward bite.) However, I haven't seen it done on one side and not the other. Also keep in mind, that by the IMCA rules, I believe the mounts must be in the stock location. I don't know what class you're running, but you may want to read the rules closely. Good luck, and let us know how it works for ya! Brian

Thats an old multileaf trick, lot of mods do this. Like Brian touched on, if you can absorb the energy into the suspension before the rearend loads your bite is increased.
